MISSOURIAN ROUNDUP: Notre Dame boys tennis moves into team district final
The top-seeded Notre Dame boys tennis team only dropped one match in the singles in its 5-1 semifinal victory over fourth-seeded North County to advance to today's Class 1 District 1 Team Tournament championship.
The Bulldogs will host second-seeded Dexter at 4 p.m. today for the district title. The Bearcats downed third-seeded Sikeston in their semifinal to proceed to the championship match.
Clayton Risenhoover was the lone victor for the Raiders, who ended their season at 4-8.

The third-seeded Tigers had no problems handling the sixth-seeded Indians in their quarterfinal victory during the Class 2 District 1 Team Tournament.
It was the two teams' fourth encounter this season with Parker Quade being the only winner for Jackson, which finished its inaugural season winless at 0-15.
Cape Girardeau Central will travel to Poplar Bluff to face the undefeated second-seeded Mules at 4 p.m. today in the semifinals.

Lauren Welker netted two goals and dished out an assist as the Indians wrapped up their regular season with a win over the Panthers in their home finale.
Grace Crowden sank the other goal for Jackson (15-4).
Goalkeeper Emily Hermann had two saves to get the shutout.
Mehlville ended its regular season at 5-14 with the loss.

Perryville 4, Poplar Bluff 0
Kirstin Jannin recorded two goals and one assist as the Pirates shook off a two-game losing streak and got back into the winning column with the victory at home over the Mules.
Leah Buerck contributed one goal and one assist for Perryville (13-4-1) and Emma King had the other goal. Sydney Spears and Jaylen Strattman provided one assist apiece for the Pirates.
Goalkeeper Adrienne Weibrecht had two saves to preserve the shutout.
Poplar Bluff reduced its record to 6-17 with the loss.
Notre Dame 7, Cape Central 0
The Bulldogs made mincemeat of their crosstown rivals and picked up a conference victory as well in the shutout.
Notre Dame (16-3-1, 5-1 SEMO Conference) finishes its regular season on Thursday when it travels to Farmington for another conference game.
Cape Girardeau Central (4-12-1, 3-4) travels north to Festus on Wednesday for its regular-season finale.

The Hawks were unable to find the back of the net in the loss at home to the Owls.
Jordan Kolinski recorded two goals and one assist to lead Windsor (10-7) to victory. Nikki Rice contributed one goal and one assist for the Owls, who got one assist apiece from Nicole Berry, Symphony Schodroski and Bailey Wilson. Alyssa Weisner dished out two assists and Bailey Peters added one for the victors.
Goalkeeper Piper Montgomery grabbed three saves to maintain the shutout.
Kelly (0-19-2) wraps up its regular season on Wednesday when it hosts North County.

The Class 1 Indians only allowed the Class 3 Knightettes to score one goal to pick up the win at home.
St. Vincent (14-6-1) concludes its regular season on Wednesday when it hosts conference foe St. Pius X (Festus).
Farmington fell to 4-9 with the loss.

Brayden Eftink hit a triple and two RBIs on Senior Day for the Bulldogs in their victory over the Tigers.

Alex Dow hammered 11 kills but the Bulldogs fell just short in the three-set thriller at home.
Alex Burger recorded a double-double with 27 assists and 10 digs for Notre Dame (9-12). A.J. Stroup also had 10 digs for the Bulldogs and Tanner Peters tallied 20 digs.
Chaminade College Preparatory improved to 12-11-2 with the win.
The Bulldogs are on the road on Thursday when they travel to Edwardsville, Illinois, to take on Metro-East Lutheran.
