MISSOURIAN ROUNDUP: Stotts posts double-double, 1,000th career point, to lead Zalma boys basketball to victory

Senior Dallan Stotts posted a double-double with a game-high 38 points and 10 rebounds and scored his 1,000th career point to boost Zalma to an 88-51 road victory over winless Bell City on Tuesday night in Bell City, Missouri.

Ridge Littleton pitched in 17 points for the Bulldogs (6-5), who were up by 22 points at the intermission. Mayson Casey added 13 points.

Luke Nichols netted 20 points to lead Bell City (0-8) in the loss while Nate Stone added 13 points.

Callie Brown scored a game-high 17 points and the top-seeded Crusaders held the eighth-seeded Hornets to just two field goals in a lopsided quarterfinal in the Delta New Year's Tournament.

Addi Beussink, Emma Brune and Masyn McWilliams scored 11 points each for Saxony Lutheran (9-1), which sat on a 52-point cushion at halftime. McWilliams also tallied five steals and four assists for the Crusaders, who also got eight rebounds from Briann Jenkins and four assists from Makayla Mueller.
