Kennett middle school girls basketball program splits games with Poplar Bluff
KENNETT, Mo. - The Kennett middle school girls basketball program settled for a split against Poplar Bluff Monday night.
Poplar Bluff jumped out to a 14-5 lead after one quarter of play on its way to 36-19 victory in the seventh grade contest. Kennett followed with a 39-11 victory against Poplar Bluff in the eighth grade game.
Kennett plays an eighth grade contest at Malden Tuesday at 6 p.m. The Kennett seventh and eighth grade teams both play at Senath-Hornersville Thursday.
