Registration open for Southeast Missouri State baseball camp

Registration is open for the Redhawks Baseball Youth Summer Camp, which will be held July 31-August 4.

The camp will be at Capaha Park, Southeast Missouri State's home field, and is open to boys and girls ages 6-12.

The five-day camp costs $125 with a camp t-shirt thrown in. There's a $20 discount for Southeast employees.

The camp will run from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. each day and will teach the fundamentals, skills and rules of the game.

Kids must bring their own equipment, including a glove, a bat, a helmet, a hat and footwear (tennis shoes or cleats with no metal spikes). Catchers must bring their own equipment, as well.

No meals will be provided but water will be available. Campers should bring their own watter bottles or coolers.
