Rebecca's Run at Dalhousie

The team of Ann Dombrowski and Kayla Eckelkamp posted the low two-day gross total at the 40-team Rebecca's Run at Dalhousie Golf Club.

The pair carded a scramble score of 68 the first day and a handicapped best-ball score of 74 on the second day to post a 142 total.

In low net in Championship flight, the team of Roberta Sentel and Brenda Rendelman shot 68-74--142 to win a scorecard playoff with the team of Dee Johnson and Sissy Donahue (71-71--142). Heather Wegge and Shelia Crosson (74-69--143) placed third.

The team of Carol Lietz and Robin Williams (77-68--145) won A flight; Deanna Estes and Eileen Owens (80-67--147) won B flight; and Colleen Schneiderjohn and Margaret Eubanks (85-76--161) won C flight.

Closest-to-the-hole winners were Williams (No. 5), Luanne Kiefner (No. 8), Heather Wegge (No. 11) and Laurel Palmer (No. 13).

Dombrowski and Eckelkamp also won the Big Break competition.

Kinder cards ace at Kimbeland

Howard Kinder of Jackson fired his fourth career hole-in-one at the age of 87 on Wednesday at Kimbeland Country Club.

Kinder used a 4-hybrid to ace No. 14, a par 3 playing 126 yards. Jim Palmer, Wayne Nesslein and Charles Hearn witnessed the shot.
