Buddy Allen won Dalhousie Golf Club's men's championship, while Dee Johnson repeated as the women's champion Sunday.

Allen finished with a three-day total of 229, shooting a 2-under-par 70 in the final round to finish 16 shots ahead of Drew Denton. Allen also had rounds of 81 and 70.

Denton (85-80-80--245) was followed by Ian Soutar (85-82-82--249), Troy Bell (87-81-86--254) and Tom Viers (88-85-83--256).

Bob Giles (92-78) won A flight with a 270, while Ken Schmitz (90-93) won B flight with a 183.

On the women's side, Johnson had rounds of 83 and 81 for a 164 total to edge Harriette Myers (78-89--167) by three shots. Elieen Owens (99-94--193) won A flight, while Robin Davis (109-97-206) won B flight.

Horseshoe results

The SEMO Horseshoe Association held a pair of events this weekend, traveling to Oran and Jackson.

On Saturday in Oran, Keith Morrow and Lachelle Cook took the top spot ahead of Randy Senciboy and Carolyn Schreckenberg. The pair of John Vandeven and Ryan Turner rounded out the top three.

In Sunday action in Jackson, Virgil Schreckenberg and Ron LeGrand were victorious, while Andrew Tucker and Lachelle Cook were second and Randy Grady and Kelcee Davault took third.

The organization's Tournament of Champions will at Jackson KC Hall at 1 p.m. Sunday and will feature all the trophy winners from throughout the 2016 season. Spectators are welcome.

The winter season will begin in October. Membership is $35 per year. Tournaments will be held indoors at the Backyard Horseshoe Club in Grassy, Missouri.
