Connor Thrower won the Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course club championship on Sunday, finishing with a two-day score of 143.

Thrower followed up a first-round 71 on Saturday with a 72 in the second round. He finished one stroke ahead of Mark Sissom, who totaled 144.

Tom Doyle won the Senior Division with rounds of 75 and 76 for a 151 total, edging Gene Golden by one shot.

George Glasscock claimed the Super Senior Division title with rounds of 88 and 88 for a 176 total. All four division winners won a reserved parking spot at the golf course.

Woody Harrelson won a playoff Sunday to capture the Senior Club Championship at Dalhousie Golf Club.

Harrelson started the day two strokes behind Bob Gile after shooting a 79 on Saturday, but pulled even with a 78 in the second round.

Tom Tindall won the Mid-Senior Flight with a 159 total (79-80), finishing six strokes ahead of Pat Evans (81-84--165).

Rod Erlbacher finished first in the Grand Senior Flight with a score of 177 (90-87), nipping runner-up David Hahs (85-93--178).

Low net winners were Gile (139) in the senior flight, John Ambercrombie (145) in the Mid-Senior flight and Paul Giebler (140) in the Grand Senior Flight.

The team of Rob MacGillvray, Britt McConnell, Scott Avis and Shayne Holliman won the SEMO Food Bank tournament Monday at Dalhousie Golf Club.

The team shot a 56 in the four-person scramble to finish a stroke ahead of Gary Larentius, Mark Mungle, Shawn Heuring and Robert Lukefahr.

In A Flight, the team of Bryan Cato, Tiger Boyd, Ben Killigore and Mike DeLaughter prevailed in a scorecard playoff over Craig Barnum, Beth Rettig, Craig David and Aaron Dombrowski. Both teams shot 64.

The tournament included a hole-in-one by Donna Wheeler on No. 5, a 135-yard par 3. Wheeler used an 8-iron for her second career ace. Witnesses were Jack Ford, Ed Groves and Allen Benton.

Other closest-to-the-hole winners were Ben McKuin (No. 8) and Anthony Houska (No. 11).
