Notre Dame eighth grade boys basketball tournament starts Saturday

The eighth grade boys Notre Dame tournament kicks off Saturday. Coming in to the tournament the obvious favorites are St. Vincent-Cape and Guardian Angel of Oran.

The first game is at 9 a.m. between Guardian Angel and Trinity Lutheran. The second game is St. Paul vs. St. Ambrose at 10:15 a.m. The third game is between St Mary's and Cape Christian at 11:30 a.m. The fourth game is between St. Augustine and Immanuel Luthern at 12:45 p.m. The fifth game is between St. Vincent of Cape and Kelso-New Hamburg (C-7) at 2:15 p.m. The sixth game is between St. Henry vs Imaculate Conception at 3:30 p.m. The seventh game is between St. Denis vs East Perry County at 4:45 p.m. The eighth and final game of the day is between St. Vincent-Perryville and Nell Hellcomb at 6 p.m.

All first round games are located at Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape. Admission is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students. The championship game is on January 17 at 4:00 p.m.
