"We played some good games and some bad games," Bernie head coach Jeff Rodgers said. "We need to be more consistent, but we still went 4-2 on the day, although all of us thought we should have won the division in this tournament."

For the tournament, Kristin Eaves had a team-high 53 kills while Bailey Martin and Krista Armbuster each had 22. Martin only had two attack errors on the tournament.

Sami Palmer had 90 assists and 48 digs.

Bernie is now 9-10-1 on the season.

At the Camdenton Tournament, the Poplar Bluff Lady Mules finished 1-2-2.

Poplar Bluff split with Cole Camp and Rock Bridge before losing to Camdenton, 25-11, 25-11. Following a win against Owensville, 25-23, 25-22, the Lady Mules lost in the first round of tournament play 25-7, 25-10 to Sacred Heart.

"Travis ran a good race, he just wasn't strong enough at the end to finish where we would have liked," Poplar Bluff cross country coach Elizabeth Lewis said. "It was a great opportunity to see where he stands amongst the rest of the district and sectional schools to help him with the fine tuning that needs to be done until then."
