Holcomb opens fall baseball with walk-off double

The Holcomb Hornets started the fall baseball season with a home game against Campbell. Holcomb's side was a much lighter team than last year, with some players out due to injury, while Campbell's crew was light on experience. With the help of one new face and one familiar, Holcomb found a way to win in dramatic fashion.

Class and district assignments were released Friday for the 2014 and 2015 seasons for high school volleyball. The only SCAA school changing moving up or down a class is Bloomfield. The Wildcats will moved from Class 1 to Class 2 this season. Bloomfield is slated to compete in Class 2, District 2, with Charleston, Puxico, Saxony Lutheran, Scott City, Twin Rivers and Woodland...
