Rib City Shootout: Dexter vs. Liberty

The Dexter Bearcats never trailed in a 53-49 victory over Liberty (Mountain View) during the Rib City Shootout on Friday, June 4, 2021, at the Bearcat Event Center in Dexter. The Bearcats led by as many as nine points (11-2) in the first half, although Liberty tied the score at 26 late. Trailing 30-26 at halftime, Liberty sliced the lead to one early in the second half before the Bearcats used a 7-2 run to gain a seven-point cushion. The Shootout, which featured 46 teams from four states, continues through Saturday, June 5, 2021.
