Why is it so hard to keep a coach ?

What have the coaches done wrong ?

Why is there no support from Athletics Department ?

Why is it so hard to fix the tennis courts ?

  • Yes they do !! Hard to believe isn't it.

Especially with no support from Athletics Dept or the man higher up.

  • Well if it were up to the students, the sport would be long-gone by now. I talked to plenty of them when I was in college who wanted to get rid of football and men's basketball because "they don't win games so we should drop them." Has anybody looked at the tennis team's winning percentage history?

  • Redhawkstudent, It is hard to believe that the majority of students want those sports gotten rid of. Even tennis.

Title IX compliance would require the addition of another women's sport to be added if a men's sport was added.

There are 8 womens sports while there are only 5 mens.

Football tips the scales when accounting for scholarships in Title IX consideration. There are many factors considered for compliance and the ratio of males to females in the student body is one that favors females currently.
