• Me too, porchswing. But I've heard/read positive things about St. Vincent this year so who knows. They showed it wasn't a fluke as according to the scores since each team won by the minimum amount each set.

• St. Vincent is one of the tallest Class 1 teams I've seen this year. I wasn't too surprised porchswing. I thought St. Vincent had the potential all season, but had some standout losses on its resume for some reason.

• c1-Bernie will play Bismarck. Clarkton will play St. Vincent

  C2--Jefferson beat Valle Catholic in 2 sets. 25-20, 25-23. Principia beats Brentwood 25-12, 25-23. Jefferson will play Portageville, with Principia playing Bloomfield.

  C3-Dexters opponent will be decided tomorrow. If they beat them Saturday they will more than likely play St. Pius X in the Quarterfinals. In 4 sets Dexter has 1 win against St. Pius( They split at the Notre Dame Volleyballfest. Good news for Dexter, St. Pius plays right before they must play Dexter/Dexter opponent

  C4- Farmington plays Lafayette(wildwood). Lafayette beat NW(Cedar Hill) for their district crown. NW has beaten Farmington twice this year-both in 2 sets.

• I read where Portageville has won 28 games and that Clarkton has 26 wins. Great years for both schools. I'll be interested to see how well they compete at their sectionals.
