Coach Nathan Morgan has resigned from the Caruthersville School District, effective immediately. Coach Morgan will be teaching at Greene County Tech High School in Paragould, AR this fall, where he will also be an Assistant Football Coach.
Coach Morgan was the Head Football Coach at Caruthersville from 2010-2013. In four seasons, Morgan led the Tigers to records of 12-1; 11-2; 10-3; and 10-2, for a total record of 43-8. Under Morgan's leadership, the Tigers made it to the Missouri Class 2 Quarterfinals all 4 years, and to the Semifinals in 2012.

Morgan leaves Caruthersville with the 3rd most wins (43), only behind legendary Tiger coaches Lloyd Block (89) and Jack Hopke (60).
Morgan had the 2nd highest winning percentage (.843), only trailing David Gilmore's (.885).

Any ideas who the new head coach may be? Will they promote from within seeing it is so late?
