Poplar Bluff is a favorite to top Jackson In the race for the Semo North conference champion title.
when do they play and where? should be a great game from what I hear!
The 22nd at Bluff
Sept. 22nd at Bluff
According to who?? Is there a line on the game? lol
It makes no difference if Poplar Bluff beats Jackson or not. There will still be some who claim Jackson is better.
Jackson will win that game by 20.
How is Bluff favored?
^ Vegas has been getting tons of bets on this game. How haven't you heard? It will dwarf McGregor/Mayweather by game time
I'd say Jackson is the favorite and I'm a Bluff guy...we haven't beat them since 2011.
Jackson wins the game this year by 17. Won't be close unless the refs keep it close.
wweguru isnt that the season they went 1-9
Me thinks Sweater Vest is providing a little bulletin board material for his Indians.
Bluff is gonna Adrian Peterson the Indians.
@ThadCastle by Adrian Peterson them you mean sitting on the bench like he did this past Sunday? Lol.
I think Bluff had better worry about Cape Central first! Neither of y'all have played any stiff competition.
Im a Bluff guy and i think were gonna absolutely turbo Jackson.
Yes, Cape Central first. Vest, I don't think we'll turbo Jackson at all...do think we'll win of course but I think we may see another shootout like we did in 2015 with these two potent offenses.
Jackson is coming off a huge win against Marion,Ar.,Marion would have turboed most teams in S.E. Missouri.Hopefully, Jackson starters will get rested in the 2nd half against Farmington this week and be be ready to roll Sept. 22 down at Bluff. Go Jackson !
Would saying they're going to Ray Rice them be better?
@ThadCastle... y'alls offense can't even Ray Rice Cape.. get ready for back to back losses. Lol
What were y'all saying about Bluff winning the North.....
I haven't seen Bluff play this year, but if they have a high scoring offense like in past seasons I'd expect the game to be incredibly high scoring. Jackson doesn't play much defense. They essentially depend on the opposing offense to beat themselves. So, if Bluff can play without turning it over it should be a shootout
@semo501 you mean if Bluff can score for score with Jackson's high powered offense.. Bluff has yet to play anyone of high caliber like Jackson has with Lindbergh out of Stl and Marion out of Arkansas. It'll be an interesting game but I just don't think Bluff can keep up offensively. Defensively neither have played common opponents except for Jackson beating Sikeston 55-8. Sikeston beat Cape last week. Cape bear Farmington on a last second play and currently Jackson is up by 2 touchdowns. Currently Cape is beating Bluff by 7
Finally Bluff takes the lead on Cape.. about time
Next week, literally the biggest game of the year in SEMO (two biggest schools). This one will probably decide the conference champion and have so much district implications.
Looking forward to a packed stadium next week and a helluva game
My team? I've never seen a Bluff game in person in my life.
Jackson will win the SEMO North
