I don't know about anyone else but I still hate the new semoball format. Just used the old format again and it's so much better. Not thankful for new format. :(
But no I don't see valle declining. Maybe not a state title every year but definitely no losing seasons anytime soon. Question: has valle EVER had a losing season? If so when?

C4: Harrisonville 21, Kearney 14

Valle's only losses this year were to Penny and Lamar. Both of those teams won state championships. Penny in a blowout and Lamar handeled Trinity. Lamar set a new state record for 6 straight. They should win class 2 again next year. Penny will also be good. For yet another year Valle played without their starting running back who was injured in first game. He was also one of their best defensive players. Valle's starters go both ways. Lamar wore Valle down. Only two of their starters doubled both ways. Lamar will beat Valle again next year. The Penmy game should it occur will again be for the class 1 title. Valle should be good for at least the next three years. They have some young quality players including an upcoming quarterback who will see plenty of varsity time in a mop up role. The Valle Ste Gen game should be a good one. Most of SG's best players were juniors and will be seniors this coming year.
