The top Sophmores that should impact there team greatly this upcoming season.
None because all the juniors and seniors are better. We're 4 weeks into football season. Take a break from basketball. It'll be cold before you know it.
I cant wait for basketball! Never too early to talk about it!!
Oh. And its supposed to be 49 degrees tomorrow night.
Thats cold to me!!
Amen I'm always wanting to talk basketball. It's right around the corner!!
I wish football was over NOW !!!
Ok. Don't know a lot of sophs. I'm a kennett fan so I do know Jad Kinney. He's pushing 6'4 and probably will reach 6'6. He has a lot of upside. Morrissey kid can play. Somebody help me. Can't think of who he plays for. And I like Javarcus Word from NMCC. He and Willie will make for a great backcourt this year in Eagle land.
Willie Lucas - Poplar Bluff
Emanuel White - Clarkton
Lucas Moe - Doniphan (Started as a Freshman last year)
LaMonte Bell - Caruthersville
JaVarcus Word - NMCC
Jad Kenny - Kennett
Wesley Sharp - Ellington
Marshon Morrissey - Ellington (Missouri top scoring Freshman)
Kwaychon Chism - Cape Central
Kedron Rollings - Hayti
Williams- Saxony Luthern
Jason Jarrell should make an impact on Dexter's varsity as a sophomore.
So now we have a "bubble watch" for upcoming hs sophomore basketball players?
Just stick to football Warriorz.
Phazon Fobbs. Sam cox Sikeston
Cool down, Preacher. Just pointing out a really lame analysis. I could be a smartellic and tell you to stick to church but I'm not. You should be in a good mood. Dexter is having a solid season.
Nothing wrong with my mood, Warriorz. We speak of bubble teams, why not bubble players? Nothing lame about that at all. You just don't seem to like basketball judging from your first post on this thread and other comments you have made. If that's the case, why not just ignore the non-football threads?
Let's not kid ourselves. Having on the bubble hs sophomore pre-season basketball players is lame. It's real lame. Maybe you all struggle with football down there because you all look forward to basketball a littllllleeee too early.
Or maybe you Mineral Area folks struggle with basketball because you focus on football too much. It works just as well one way as it does the other, Warriorz.
They need a like button ^^^^
Well said Preacher! There is room for both year around as far as I'm concerned!
And football down here in SEMO is doing just fine Thank You!
I think "the mineral area" does better at basketball than semo does with football. Been 31 years since someone south of perryville won a state championship in football. Good one preacher. Maybe that joke is funny enough to tell on Sundays.
Half of the schools in semo don't play football. Why wouldn't there be more basketball fans than football fans.
Fans? I'm referring to state championships.
Warriorz. Take a few minutes and calculate Mineral area football state championships vs. SEMO basketball state championships. Not even close!!
And yes, even Jackson has won state in Basketball!!
You realize my comparison was mineral area BASKETBALL state titles vs semo FOOTBALL state titles. Preach said mineral area was weak in basketball as semo was weak in football. Not true. Semo football < "mineral area" basketball.
And Jackson you realize also basketball state titles have been awarded for a much longer time than football state titles, right?
And my comparison was SEMO basketball championships vs. Your areas football championships.
Again not even close!
You brought it up. Deal with it!!
Lol no I didn't you did. Deal with it. Take a few minutes and calculate that fact.
I love the young ones youthful exuberance.
Like the old saying goes. I'll paraphrase.
Business should hire them while they're young and still know everything!
Good analogy. That was a cool story.
Jonathan and Jacob Friess from Jackson. Twins and gonna be real nice players in the future.
Brandon Wagner PHC can really shoot it.
Joe Clary from Bloomfield will definetly be an impact player in the semo area
Tim Hector can shoot shoot it
Watch out for Geoff Rodriguez, David Sawyer, and some of the others down there at Senath.
Geoffrey Rodriguez, Max Zapata, Graylin Kelly, and David Sawyer are ones to watch out for from Senath-Hornersville.
Aaron and Andrew Harrison are pretty electric sophomores.
Antonius Cleveland also figures to contribute quite a bit.
Blake bauwens is gonna get a good amount of minutes at nd
