Hartville 39-38 end of 3rd. Oran was down 10 halfway through the quarter but made a run. I'm just listening to the game, but it sounds like things are getting pretty crazy in regards to the officiating (both ways). There was a double technical called on 2 players, Layne Johnson already fouled out, Cole Priggel picked up his 4th already, and a several players on both teams with 3 fouls.

Very proud of saxony. They made it further than anybody thought they would, it sucks they couldnt pull through.... in my opinion this was saxony's best team they have ever had. I cant stress enough how proud i am of the season they had this year... 66-47 final

And, win with humility; the comments by the Saxony player following their win over Charleston saying Charleston was classless following the Jays' win over Saxony the year before was uncalled for. If their team was heckled, at all, it was probably by a only a few overzealous fans. I found his comment lacking in class.

I don't think in every case in which a player or coach mentions "God," it necessarily implies they think God favors one team over another. Unless they feel God favors "them" over an opponent, I see no reason to be "bothered!"

I saw the Park Hills /Whitfield game and today's Whitfield/Saxony game. I saw Whitfield manhandle Park Hills with their B game. Saxony's guard play today was awful. They couldn't handle the one on one pressure.

Hey Larry, great game between Oran and Neelyville! You can serve me up a big helping of crow and I'll eat it all. You won't see me betting against Leah Cauble against anybody again! She had 29 against Dexter and 33 in the win over Neelyville today. 13 for 15 at the FT line with only one miss in the last few minutes when I know she had to be very tired. She also got nearly 40 points worth of help from her mates to pull off what I assume anybody around here would consider an upset. Congratulations and good luck in Columbia!

Side note, got word that the Neelyville bus and our bus were loading in Branson at the Beta convention and Neelyville kids congratulated our kids on the win. That's something special!

So the boys class 2 state final 4 has no team ranked in Feb. 16 coaches poll. Polls? Lol. Looks very evenly matched. Oran has good shot.

Oran girls have tougher task. However neelyville beat #2 and #4. Neelyville was a monster this year and should have been ranked in top 5 all year. Biggest win in oran's girl program ever.
