The Southeast Rippers 11U travel baseball team competed over the weekend in the Perryville Stars tournament in Perryville, MO. The Rippers took home the 2nd Place trophy with a 3-1 record. The Rippers were the #2 seed in the championship tournament after posting wins Saturday over the Missouri Bulls and Chaffee Heaters. The Rippers knocked off the St. Gen Riverdogs before losing the championship game to the Gateway Gators by a final of 6-3. All the Rippers contributed in a big way capped by strong pitching from Layne Robinson, Jonathon Tyler, Cadin Dannenemueller and Gabe Henson and also featured a 3 run homer by Jack Rutherford in a semifinal win that easily cleared the 200 ft fence.
