SEMO football team no match for EKU

The SEMO football team had its first real OVC dud game of the season Saturday as the Redhawks were blasted by Eastern Kentucky 31-7 in their final home contest.

Not much went right for the Redhawks, who trailed 31-0 before avoiding the shutout by scoring a touchdown in the closing minutes.

A winning season is now out of the question for the Redhawks (3-6, 2-4 OVC). Another win period will be difficult to come by as they finish the year with road games at high-scoring Eastern Illinois and Murray State.
