Travis Hayes
Travis Hayes was a member of the Southeast Missouri State baseball team during its 2014 and 2015 Ohio Valley Conference championship seasons and was OVC Co-Pitcher of the Year in 2014. He spent his first three years of college playing baseball for the Jefferson College Vikings and graduated from Southeast in December 2015 with a degree in English.
Travis now works with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). When he isn't out playing with animals you can more than likely find him on Xbox Live under the gamertag bankshafthenry, or somewhere in Middle Earth in search of the Ring.

Proud to call myself a Redhawk alumnus
Posted Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at 12:00 AMThe 2016 season will go down in the record book for the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks for a multitude of reasons. Another conference championship ring. Another tournament championship. A record-breaking 39 wins. A single season and career record-breaking amount of strikeouts for the infamous Joey Lucchesi. It is truly remarkable what this team did this year and I am forever proud to call myself an alumnus... -

Everybody had snuggle buddies and it felt like we were all back in Junior College. Seriously. Skylar Cobb and Cole McBroom, two grown men, both shared a roll-out cot that would comfortably sleep a 12 year-old and that's about it. It was one of the cutest things I've ever seen... -
Intro to A Regional
Posted Thursday, June 2, 2016, at 10:54 AM2For any fans of SEMO baseball in the past couple years, perhaps you know who I am and perhaps you don't. If you were at Capaha Park on a Saturday or Sunday in 2014 or 2015, there's a decent chance you may have seen me on the little circle of dirt in the middle of that gorgeous field. My name is Travis Hayes and though I no longer wear a Redhawks uniform each weekend, I am still an immense fan of Coach Steve Bieser's team and I hope to give you a different view of what SEMO baseball is like...
