Jackson wide receiver Jordan Kent signed with Ellsworth Community College (Iowa Falls, Iowa) on Thursday.
Kent, the 2018 Southeast Missourian Football Player of the Year, was a Class 5 first team all-state selection this past season as he finished with 1,498 receiving yards and 28 touchdown on 76 receptions.
That single-season mark of 28 touchdowns in second in Missouri high school history, and his career total of 65 was also second in state history. Kent is also a Semoball Awards finalist in the Football Offense category.
Ellsworth, a junior college program, went 2-9 last season and hired a new coach last month in Mitchell Kleinschrodt.
