Southeast football team drops out of Top 25

The Southeast Missouri State football team has fallen out of the Sports Network FCS Top 25 poll following the Redhawks 44-41 double overtime loss to Murray State on Saturday.

The Redhawks were ranked 23 in last week's poll -- the first time they were ranked since the 2010 season. They received 81 points in this week's poll, which was the fourth-most points of team's outside the top 25.

Tennessee State, which Southeast defeated on Oct. 4, also dropped out of the rankings. They were No. 25 in last week's poll and received 87 points this week.

Jacksonville State moved up two spots to No. 6 following a 27-20 win over the TSU Tigers. Eastern Kentucky, which is 6-0 on the season, moved up four spots to No. 13 after defeating Eastern Illinois 36-33 in overtime on Saturday.
