Final Four set at Fighting Squirrel Classic

Posted Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 2:20 AM

Two Legion teams and two Senior Babe Ruth teams have advanced to the Final Four at the 16-team Fighting Squirrel Classic.

Kennett Senior Babe Ruth will take on undefeated Poplar Bluff Senior Babe Ruth in a semifinal at Hillhouse Park in Charleston, Mo., Saturday at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Will Poplar Bluff lose a game this season or go undefeated and win the national title? One has to wonder.

Cape Girardeau Legion will take on Elsberry, Mo., Legion in the other semifinal at Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Saturday at approximately 5:30 p.m.

The winners will play in the championship Sunday at 3 p.m. in Charleston.
