Van Buren softball players Brittany Hager and Gavy Cipponeri recently signed their National Letter of Intent to play softball at Three Rivers College. We'll have more information on the Hager and Cipponeri later this week in the Daily American Republic

Rob Tate has been sports writer for the Daily American Republic in Poplar Bluff, Mo. since August 2008. Rob was born and raised in Clawson, Mich., just 14 miles north of Detroit and is an avid Tigers, Lions, Pistons, Red Wings and University of Michigan fan.
