Malden's Murphy signs at SIU

Malden senior Tanner Murphy recently signed his National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale (Ill.). The senior is a two-time all-state catcher and pitcher for the Green Wave. Murphy is currently rated the sixth top recruit by the Missouri Prep Baseball Report.
